The TerraLUX LightStar300™ is the result of years of electrical engineering and manufacturing experience as well as customer feedback. It features high/ low modes, a recessed tailcap switch (to prevent accidental activation and for increased durability), is available in standard gray and high-visibility orange, and is electronically regulated to ensure constant light output. It has logic built in that makes the LED flicker at the end of battery life to alert the user to change the batteries. The LightStar300™ provides 300 lumens of light output in high mode, and 100 lumens in low mode. Tested against an incandescent flashlight in TerraLUX’s state-of-the-art Labsphere, the light output was shown to be 25 times that of a standard bulb. |

The LightStar300™ illuminates a wider area, offering a more uniform light and less of a "hot spot" in the center than the LightStar180 or LightStar. It measures 25% brighter than the LightStar220 and has a cleaner light pattern throughout the wide "spill" of illumination. It has two modes: Low (100 lumens) and High (300 lumens). Tap the on/off switch lightly to change modes. The on/off switch is recessed in the end of the torch to avoid accidental activation, and it is available in titanium gray and high-visibility orange. The LightStar220™ has a wide spill, with a brighter "hot spot" in the center, and with a less uniform light pattern than the LightStar300. It has two brightness settings: Low (100 lumens) and High (220 lumens). Tap the on/off switch lightly to change modes. The LightStar180™ is single mode, with 180 lumens of light and a momentary switch for a quick burst of light. It is brightest in the center "hot spot" and is good for targeting a specific point, while still giving a wide "spill" area of light. The LightStar100™ is the most compact torch at 4" long, with a smaller spill area and a small but bright "hot spot" in the center. It has three modes: Low (50 lumens), High (100 lumens) and Strobe (100 lumens) |
