The new Fenix TK30 utilizes the new Cree MC-E quad-core Super LED capable of producing a blazing 630 lumens, powered by either 1 or 2 lithium-ion rechargeable 18650 batteries or 2 or 4 CR123A non rechargeable batteries without or with the extension tube respectively. This torch is equally as bright as the impressive Fenix TK40 but is more compact due to the higher voltage of the batteries used. This torch is capable of producing 630 lumens which Fenix compare to a car headlight for 1.5 hours or 12 lumens for 90 hours which is plenty of light for your tent or similar. TheTorchSite highly recommends the use of the lithium-ion 18650 batteries for this item rather than the CR123A batteries due to environmental and long term cost savings. Fenix TK30 offers three modes of operation. Each mode of output features two light levels. Loosen head slightly for first level, tighten head for second level. To switch between modes a quick double twist of the head is all that's required, tightening and loosening twice to move to the next mode. Your last setting is memorized before power off so when switching on the torch no need to change mode if you previously used preferred option. Output levels with 2 x CR123 batteries: • Mode A - 100 lumens / 5 hrs or 370 lumens / 1 hr - (medium) • Mode B - 12 lumens / 30 hrs or 175 lumens / 2.7 hrs - (low) • Mode C - Strobe (370 lumens) or 2 hrs :370 lumens / 1 hr - (high) Output levels with 2 x 2500 mAh 18650 Li-ion rechargeable batteries: • Mode A - 100 lumens / 16 hrs or 630 lumens / 1.5 hrs - (medium) • Mode B - 12 lumens / 90 hrs or 175 lumens / 8.4 hrs - (low) • Mode C - Strobe (630 lumens) 3 hrs or 630 lumens constant / 1.5 hrs - (high) |
